MACO, Davao de Oro — Officers of YFPM TALBOS–Region XI joined YFPM Davao de Oro’s 8th Panagtapok ug Pakighimamat (PUP), held on December 29–30 at the 1001st Infantry (Pag-asa) Brigade.

Bringing together peace advocates from 11 municipalities, PUP is an annual gathering of YFPM Davao de Oro, which aims to recognize the accomplishments of the organization and strengthen the bonds among its members.

The two-day event highlighted the 9th Gawad Kalinaw to award the best-performing municipal chapters and outstanding officers and members.

The event’s theme, “This is 8!: Uniting Voices and Shaping the Future for an INSTITUTIONALIZED YFPM Davao de Oro,” echoes the organization’s continuing advocacy to sustain peace and development in the province.

In her message, YFPM TALBOS–Region XI President Bernadette Festin expressed her congratulations and recognized YFPM Davao de Oro’s persistent efforts to empower the youth through its impactful programs and activities.

YFPM Davao de Oro elected a new set of officers during the event, led by the newly elected president, Ardie Louise Villapaz.
