NEW BATAAN, Davao de Oro — A validation of the implemented programs of Youth for Peace Movement Davao de Oro's (YFPMDdO) municipal chapters for the first quarter of 2022 was conducted on May 1 at Myk Angelo Inland Resort, Brgy. Andap here. The said activity aims to assess the accomplishments of YFPMDdO's subordinate chapters during the said quarter and prepare for its next move as the second phase of its 2022 Annual Plan comes with the start of the second quarter. Municipal Presidents, Organizational Development Unit (ODU) Coordinators, and other YFP municipal chapter representatives were present during the gathering where each of them presented their reports to the validators led by Jess Elton Largado, YFPMDdO President, and Elaine Marie Cabatingan, Provincial ODU Coordinator. Present also during the activity was the former President of YFPMDdO and now the National Peace Communication Unit (PCU) Coordinator, Bren Cabatingan, who shared his insights and guidance with the presenters. He also reminded the ODU Coordinators to secure the requirements of their accomplishments such as reports, attendance records, and documentation, as these will serve as means to validate their accomplished activities. Meanwhile, during the event, focused activities after the election were relayed by Pres. Largado to the municipal representatives to prepare them for the tasks ahead after a series of delays brought about by the political race. He also reminded them to process their registration to the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) of the National Youth Commission, which is one of their major targets in the Annual Plan this year.
