DAVAO CITY - The Revised Constitution and By-Laws of the Youth for Peace and Development Movement Philippines (YFPDMP) is now on its way for ratification as the National Council Officers met for its 3rd and final reading during their 1st Semestral Meeting today, June 19, 2021, via Zoom.
Despite issues on connectivity, the YFPDMP leaders spent the whole day brainstorming the highest policy that will govern and unite all Youth for Peace Chapters in the country in the years to come.
The said meeting was presided over by Alexis Micutuan, National President of the YFPDMP National Council.
Aside from the deliberation of the CBL, the attendees also discussed other relevant topics such as the selection of appointive National Officers, Reporting of Updates on the Tasks of National Officers, the upcoming Semestral Conference and National Assembly, and the Plebiscite for the Ratification of the new CBL.
The creation of a new and detailed CBL has been part of the platforms that the 3rd YFPDMP Council eyes to achieve before their term ends in December this year.
Included in these platforms was the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Registration of the organization that was already achieved in January this year, and its affiliation to the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) of the National Youth Commission which was fulfilled last year.
