MONKAYO, Davao de Oro - As the spirit of giving and volunteerism shines through this Christmas season, the Youth for Peace Movement (YFPM) Monkayo, in partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), extended its "A Peace of Happiness" (APOH) Program to the residents of a Gawad Kalinaw (GK) Village in Sitio Bansilaw here, on December 26, 2021.
The beneficiaries, particularly children, were able to receive Jollibee food packs and prizes from games.
A Peace of Happiness, commonly known as gift-giving, is a regular program being implemented by the Chapters of YFPM Davao de Oro.
With the assistance of various groups and individuals who donated financial and material resources, YFPM Monkayo organized the APOH during the season of giving to help the children in the said area experience the essence of Christmas.
During the program, Christopher Basan, President of YFPM Monkayo expressed his gratitude to the event's primary sponsor, the SK of Brgy. Poblacion headed by Hon. Ivan Jello Cajes.
