BISLIG CITY, Surigao del Sur - Despite the threat of the current pandemic, youth leaders of Propelling Our Inherited Nation Through our Youth (POINTY)Surigao del Sur, gave their time and effort to attend the Courtesy Call and 2nd Provincial Quarterly Meeting held at the Headquarters of 48th Infantry Battalion (IB) here last April 17, 2021.
The dual event was also attended by the Agusan del Sur Chapter to acquaint its Officers with other Provincial and Municipal Officers of Surigao del Sur.
The youth leaders were warmly welcomed by the Officers of 48th IB, led by Lt. Col. Enrique G. Rafael.
During the meeting, both Provincial Chapters reported their accomplishment reports which were presided by POINTY Chairperson, Robert Laurente Jr.
Likewise, POINTY Agusan del Sur President, Charity Cuadra, presented the YFPDMP Affiliation System (YAS) to encourage the attendees to apply their Chapters to the said system to be recognized as an affiliate by the Youth for Peace National Council.
Meanwhile, 1Lt. Kinley S. Cocjin, Civil-Military Operations Officer of 48IB expressed his enthusiasm and strong support to POINTY's activities in Agusan del Sur and Surigao del Sur.
"48IB is open for you all. Mabuhay and Youth for Peace," he said before dismissing the meeting.
