IPIL, Zamboanga Sibugay - The Youth For Peace Movement Zamboanga Sibugay (YFPMZS), in partnership with the 44th Infantry Battalion (IB), conducted its 2nd Batch of Youth Leadership Summit (YLS) Facilitator Trainings crossed training with Stakeholder Engagement Training last May 28-29, at the Headquarters of 44IB in Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay.
The said activity was participated by 13 participants, including the personnel of 44IB who will serve as "Ate/Kuya" facilitators during the YLS.
A series of lectures were presented during the training focusing on the History of YLS, Facilitating Participants, Facilitators Tasking given by the YFPMZS Team, and Stakeholders Engagement provided by 1LT Ma. Melva G. Logroño, the Civil-Military Operations (CMO) Officer of 44IB.
Refreshing the process of some of the trademark activities during YLS, the facilitators likewise engaged in Slogan, Poster, and Guidon making as well as showcased their Eco-Friendly Attire during the Mr. and Ms. YLS Faci 2022.
In his message, Alrashid Salipyasin, the President of YFPMZS said that the training's goal was to equip the facilitators and help them work together efficiently.
"Our facilitators need to create synergy, generate new ideas, arrive at consensus and agreement, and be oriented about their roles and responsibilities as they facilitate the upcoming YLS all over the Province," he said.
