MAGPET, Cotabato - In order to equip the aspiring YLS facilitators of the Youth for Peace Movement (YFPM) Cotabato Chapter with the right knowledge and proper skills, the organization initiated a Facilitator's Training last November 13, 2021 at 72IB's Alpha Company, Pangao-an here. Such training is in preparation for the upcoming Youth Leadership Summits in 11 municipalities of 1st and 3rd districts of North Cotabato – excluding Tulunan – that will be conducted in the third week of November until the month of December. The said activity was composed of a series of lectures on the organization's objectives, the rights and roles of youth volunteers, 6 paths to empowerment, and conflict management.

It lays significance on the right values for the facilitators to acquire, and for them to interweave such values into practice when conducting Youth Leadership Summits, and other endeavors of the organization. The council also integrated a platform, and a discussion that would address the concerns, and issues within the organization. The YFPM Cotabato Chapter is beyond grateful with its partners – Alpha Company, and Charlie Company of 72nd Infantry "Gabay" Battalion, and 39th Infantry "Smash 'Em" Battalion – for the assistance, especially with the transportation, and venue for the said training.
