DAVAO CITY - The National Officers of Youth for Peace and Development Movement Philippines (YFPDMP) under the Operations Section met on September 17, 2021, via Google Meet to discuss the different online Forms that have been created by the National Peace Communication Unit in line with YFPDMP's "Digital Information, Communication, and Electronics Upgrade Project" or DICE-UP.
The said project aims to improve the organization’s information system to address issues such as banking of its volunteers’ data, centralization of reporting of accomplishments, the relationship between the National and Local Chapters, and promotion of its activities through Social Media.
With the present situation where “New Normal” measures must be abided by, the project also serves as an alternative for the National YFPDMP to connect with its Local Chapters and volunteers using the latest communication portals available to better improve the organization's service.
During the meeting, the attendees composed of the National Coordinators of Organizational Development, Youth Development, and Peace Communication Units were able to discuss the purpose and function of each Form which can be found on YFPDMP's website.
It also served as a basic orientation for the Officers as each of them was assigned to maintain and operate a particular form based on their current designation, to divide the work in processing each request in the forms, and further improve the processing time of each form.
Likewise, present during the meeting was kuya Alexis Micutuan, the President of YFPDMP and Head of the Executive Branch of the National Council who gave his support for the project and insights to further improve the forms and website.
